Results
On average, a new U.S. automobile gets 29.3 miles per gallon (mpg)*. In Europe, the new vehicle average gets on average 6.5 L/100km. The Supermileage competition pushes the limits of fuel consumption to see how little fuel we really need to use to transport people from place to place. The team is excited with the Shell Eco Marathon’s Urban Concept Car class pushing a more practical approach on fuel efficiency.
